I transplanted my peace lily and this was the perfect size.I like that it’s a simple pot. Plus that it has a drainage hole!I love this planter and have 3 others to match it in both white and black. They have a stopper in the bottom if you don't want it to drain but I removed the stopper and have never had issues with it leaking onto my floor, however I could always put it on a plastic tray if needed, or just leave the stopper in. I find my plants do better when there is a drainage hole on the bottom. The planter is very thick, sturdy and heavy. Highly recommend!!I really am glad to have found a large indoor pot. I've been gardening awhile and my plants are getting big yet when I go shopping for larger pots, they're outdoors-y and not great for indoor use. This one has a great look for inside use and is big enough for a indoor palm or suchIt's all ceramic so it has some heft to it. The pets won't easily slide this one askew.It has a drain hole but no saucer. Due to the weight of it, it's a bit much to pick up and take outside or to the bathtub to water and yet if you don't the water will come out on your floor. I've learned to tilt it, shove a towel under it, and then water. Loses one point for no saucer.But other than that inconvenience, I'm happy with it.Simple design and looks awesome. White color pot goes well with any kind of plant. I got the 10 inches one, and it becomes so heavy to me after it is watered. It would be better to have a plant dolly to help you move with this size of the ceramic pot.When this arrived I was nervous . . . the heavy duty cardboard box was in pristine shape but the molded styrofoam packing was brown and broken. Thankfully, the pot arrived safely.This is a standard white pot. It is matte and very slightly leans green toned versus bright white, but not so much that it jumps out when put with my other white pots. The sides have an even and nice width. The glaze covered the pot completely. The drainage hole is smooth and on the large side. They did provide a plastic plug, which was bent and won't stay in the hole, and a plastic mesh which I put under a rock to hold it in place. There are no feet on the bottom and the unglazed ring around the bottom does have some sharp points. Since I am using it indoors I knocked those off with a metal file, but if I were using it outdoors I wouldn't have bothered.Slight crack from shipping. Box seemed fine. I’m worried about overall longevity but so far I’m loving it. And so is the plant.
